Limbus Company Adds End Game Contents with This Event Updates

Exciting news for Limbus Company fans! Project Moon has announced that their latest event, Refraction Railway, will be released on April 6 and will run until April 20. But, before you get too excited, there are some prerequisites to access this endgame content.

First and foremost, you need to complete the main story. Specifically, you must complete stages 3-22 before you can even access Refraction Railway. Once you’ve met that requirement, you’ll be able to dive into the new content and earn some fantastic awards for completing the event.

Limbus Company Refraction Railway Endgame Content

So, what is Refraction Railway all about? This event centers around 13 new combat stages that are only available for a limited time. You’ll complete these stages with a team of Identities that you choose and the supplied E.G.O. But, here’s the catch: you can only apply upgrades after a new run, which sets this event apart from the rest of the game.

Project Moon is pushing Refraction Railway as endgame content because of its brutal set of rules. For example, if a Sinner dies midway through a stage, they become unavailable until the end of the run. Additionally, health and sanity do not reset after you complete a stage, which significantly increases the difficulty. And, to make things even more challenging, you’re not allowed to change your team once you’ve started the run.

However, there are some rules that are in your favor. You can sit certain Sinners out of stages to bring them back later, fully healed. If you fail, the game puts you back to the beginning of that specific stage, which is a generous touch.

Each stage has specific requirements that, when fulfilled, unlock a special decorative banner. You’ll also receive rewards for completing each stage, and since there are 13 of them, this could be great farming material.

If you’re not familiar with Limbus Company, it’s Project Moon’s sequel to The Lobotomy Corporation. The game follows a group of twelve Sinners as they attempt to infiltrate the Lobotomy Corporation in a dystopian, gritty world.
