Having a Dendro user in your party is essential to unlocking the “Somalata Inland Sea” domain as it is gated by a Dendro puzzle. This means that without a character who can manipulate the Dendro element, you won’t be able to progress and unlock the domain.

Once you have a Dendro user in your party, you can head to the southeastern section of the Vourukasha Oasis to find the domain. To reach the domain, you will need to enter a large cavern and look for the half-submerged entrance. It’s worth noting that the entrance is not immediately visible, so you may need to search around the area before you find it.

Once you have located the entrance, you will see four Dendro pillars scattered around the area. These pillars are an essential part of the puzzle that you need to solve to unlock the domain. Keep in mind that the puzzle requires you to hit the pillars in a specific order, which we will explain in the next section of this guide.

How to Solve the Dendro Puzzle:

After you have located the domain entrance and spotted the four Dendro pillars, you need to pay close attention to the wall behind each pillar. Each of these walls features a painting with a drum score note and a number of dots below it. The drum score notes represent a specific sound, and the number of dots indicates the order in which you need to hit the Dendro pillars.

To unlock the “Somalata Inland Sea” domain, you must hit each pillar in a specific order. Starting with the Dendro pillar that has one dot behind it, you need to hit each pillar in sequence, ending with the Dendro pillar with four dots behind it. Following the correct order is crucial as hitting the pillars out of sequence will not unlock the domain.

It’s essential to note that you don’t have to use a plunge attack to hit the Dendro pillars, despite what the notes on the wall suggest. Any Dendro attack or ability can hit the pillars and progress through the puzzle. However, if you don’t have a Dendro user with an attack or ability that can hit the pillars, you won’t be able to complete the puzzle and unlock the domain.

After the “Somalata Inland Sea” domain will be unlocked, and you can proceed to claim your rewards. This is an exciting addition to the Genshin Impact universe, and we hope this guide helps you navigate the new area with ease. Happy exploring!
