Valiant Force 2, the tactical RPG sequel to the original Valiant Force, released in Southeast Asia in February 2023 and quickly gained popularity among gamers. Now, developer XII Braves has announced that the game will have a global release by the end of June this year, as per the official Facebook post.
In Valiant Force 2, players will find themselves in the fantasy world of Arathos, where they must find the missing Crystal of Arathos and its supposed protector, Leon Daracan, who has disappeared, and face new dangers that threaten the land’s safety. Players take on the role of Elise Arkwright, a knight who must lead her team to uncover the truth behind Leon’s disappearance.
Gameplay Valiant Force 2 is Interesting with Similarity of FFT and Disgaea
The gameplay is a tactical RPG in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea, where players can level up their heroes, switch up their jobs, and manage their equipment. The game has some unique mechanics, such as airship battles and the Aura Trigger system, which players can use to get the best out of their fighting force.
Valiant Force 2 is not a direct continuation of the original game’s plotline, so players can enjoy the game without having played the previous entry. The game promises to bring nostalgia with its own twist on battle mechanics, and renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, who scored Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII, has composed the soundtrack.
