WhatsApp Release Call Links to Make It Easier to Have a Meetings in The App!

Today, WhatsApp introduced a brand-new feature called Call Links, which is rather self-explanatory. With the feature, You can establish a link to a call, and others with whom you share the link can then join the call by clicking or touching the link, pretty similar to Zoom and Google Meets.

WhatsApp Call Links are Pretty Useful As Long As You Have a Links

Even if they’re not in your contacts, anyone with WhatsApp can join your call; the only need is that they have WhatsApp themselves. Essentially, that’s all there is to it, but the fact that it’s straightforward does not imply it’s not incredibly valuable.

In the big scheme of things, a call link is nothing novel, as other services have had similar capabilities for a very long time. But WhatsApp is a monster in terms of user base, so today a large number of individuals may participate in calls without difficulty which is pretty useful in organisational settings or for group meetings in WhatsApp.

According to WhatsApp, Call Links are in the process of being rolled out, and the process could take several days or perhaps a week. In addition, he disclosed that WhatsApp’s developer team is now testing safe, encrypted video calling for up to 32 participants, with more information expected soon.
