With the debut of Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro series, it was inevitable that Android manufacturers would create their own versions of the feature. One is the developers for Xiaomi’s MIUI are already working on comparable implementations and the forthcoming Redmi K60 that is said to feature the Dynamic Island.
On Weibo, Xiaomi China President Lu Weibing questioned people if they “really want a Smart Island,” to which a number of users responded that they would like to see Xiaomi’s take on the Dynamic Island, while others are opposed to its adoption.
