Wuthering Waves Version 1.1, titled Thaw of Eons, is here following the June 28th maintenance. This update brings a lot of new content, including a new storyline, bug fixes, new systems, and powerful characters.
A new region, Mount Firmament, has been introduced. This icy mountain is wrapped in mist and holds a significant place in Jinzhou’s history. It is said that time flows differently on this mountain, making it a fascinating place full of secrets. However, to explore this area, you’ll need to complete some main story tasks first.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Add New Characters: Jinhsi and Changli
Two new characters, Jinhsi and Changli, are now available. Jinhsi, the magistrate of Jinzhou, fights with heavenly power and grace, while Changli, the counselor, uses fiery techniques that will leave enemies burning. These characters will add new dynamics to your team.
The update also brings new events. The Tactical Simulacra combat event features a special mission with the fun and mischievous Lolo. On July 4th, a limited-time event called Dreams Ablaze in Darkness will begin, testing your skills and teamwork in a challenging new realm.
Thaw of Eons introduces two new five-star weapons. The Ages of Harvest is a broad blade that cuts through time, and the Blazing Brilliance is a fiery sword made from the essence of a legendary bird. These weapons come with unique effects that will impact the combat meta.
Quality of Life Improvements and Bug Fixes
Version 1.1 also brings several quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Expect clearer descriptions for characters and skills, better enemy distribution, and an improved leveling system. Additionally, many bugs have been fixed, and the auto lock-on system has been improved, making combat smoother.
